A scrubber in manufacturing is generally equipment or an assembly designed to remove, capture, or control unwanted particles, vapors, gases, or contaminants within a process. Stainless steel may be selected when corrosion resistance, cleanliness, durability, or compatibility with the process environment is important. The exact design depends on the application, operating conditions, connected equipment, and required performance criteria.
